Carl A. Fernstrom, 65, of Evans City passed away December 21, 2017 at St. John Specialty Care in Mars.
Born April 7, 1952 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Carl and Mildred Hawkins Fernstrom.
He was a former Air Force Mechanic Instructor while in the Air Force in Illinois. Upon his return, he worked as a motorcycle mechanic.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He enjoyed the outdoors and riding his motorcycle.
Surviving are his 3 children: Tina, Eric and Brian.
5 grandchildren and 4 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 7-9 pm Wednesday.
