Christopher Diaz Obituary

Christopher J. Diaz, 30, of Butler passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Johnstown, PA as a result of a work related accident.

Born February 9, 1988 in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of Deborah Black Busin and Raul R. Diaz.

He was employed by Insight Pipe Contracting. He was also a motivational speaker for individuals in recovery.

He enjoyed fishing, Penguins hockey, working out at the gym and especially spending time with his son, Logan, the love of his live.

Surviving is his son, Logan.

His mother, Deborah (David) Busin of Evans City and his father, Raul R. (Donna) Diaz of CO.

His step-sister, Jaclyn Busin and his step-grandmother, Dorothy Busin both of New Castle.

Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Erica A. Busin. Maternal grandparents, Charles and Anna Marie Black. His paternal grandparents, Lala and Fabian Gonzalas and his step-grandfather, Thomas J. Busin.

Friends of Christopher J. Diaz who passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday from Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, 1304 E.Cruikshank Rd. Butler, PA. Internment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
