Dolores J. Polanec

Dolores J. Polanec, 76, of Butler passed away April 25, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born April 25, 1940 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Turkalj) Kreinbucher.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian where she was a member of the Christian Mothers Guild. She was also a member of the church Choir. She was strong in her faith and enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Isadore Polanec whom she married September 22, 1962.

Her 4 children: Marianne Polanec of Butler, David Polanec of Maryland, Gregory Polanec of Butler and Karen (Gary) Wible of Butler.

2 Grandsons: Nathan and Mathew Wible.

A sister, Julia Ann Kreinbucher of Butler and a brother, Charles J.(Mary) Kreinbucher of Butler.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Dorothy Kreinbucher.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday from St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian, PA. With the Rev. James Murphy, Pastor to officiate. Entombment will follow at the Calvary Mausoleum in Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church Choir.
