Evelyn C. Rodgers

Evelyn C. Rodgers,74, of Butler passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 1, 1943 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen McKissick Rearick.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She was also a lifetime member of East Butler Firehall.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search, cooking and especially her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Paul E. Rodgers, they were married December 18, 1965.

6 children: Pam (Dave) Daugherty of Louisville, KY., Teresa (Jeff) Hepler, Rita Cravener, Paul (Marie) Rodgers, Jr., Ellen Enslen (Charles Shever) and Wayne (Daelene) Rodgers, all of Butler.

12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A sister, Carol Deal of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Darla Rodgers; A grandson, Joshua Hepler; 2 great-grandchildren, Jayden Enslen and Caitlin Hoffman; 6 sisters and brothers.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean St. Butler, PA 16001. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.

St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:30 Saturday at the church to recite the Rosary.
