Harold D. "Dave" Troutman

Harold D. “Dave” Troutman, 81 of Butler passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 following an extended illness.

Dave was a son of the late Harold H. and Dorothy Weiland Troutman. He graduated from Butler High School in 1953. After serving 4 years in the United States Airforce, he returned to Butler and married Joyce Michel in 1958. They were married 58 years and had five children.

Dave worked for Armco/AK Steel, he was an Area Manager of Power Distribution, retiring in 2001, following 46 years service.

In his early years, Dave was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed reading, boating, dancing and golfing. He was a jack of all trades and could fix it all. Foremost, Dave's number one priority in life was his family, dogs included.

He was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived and sorrowfully missed by his wife, Harold D. “Dave” was a loving and devoted husband to Joyce Troutman.

Loving father of April Sipos, Melody Troutman, Amber Tilko (Doug Rasp), Jeffery (Jennifer) Troutman and his deceased son, David Troutman who passed away in 2001.

Grandchildren: Lee (Jenny) McKain, Lindsey Sipos, Megan Sipos and her fiance' Eric Botts, Hannah (Grant)McGinnis, Joshua Tilko, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Colin and Kara Troutman.

A Great grand-son, Zachary McKain. His devoted dog, Mia.

In addition to his son, he was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 am from St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler, PA. Rev. James Murphy, Pastor, to officiate. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.

A Prayer Service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday from the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flower, memorial donations may be made to St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
