Irene M. Dunkle, 89, of Butler passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg.
Born August 8, 1927 in Lyndora, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Wilma (Lawrence) Benko.
She was employed by Century Link Telephone Company as a Sales Representative. She retired in 1982 following 37 years service.
She was a member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora. She was also a member of the Independent Pioneer Workers.
Surviving are her brother Edward (Emily) Benko of Butler. Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Dunkle, 2 sisters and a brother.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA. 16001 from 6-8 PM Friday. Entombment will be at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
