Kathleen M. Hoffman Dougherty, 92, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at the Sunnyview Home.

Born September 24, 1924 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Ott Litzenberg and Mary Weiland Litzenberg.

Kathleen was a Homemaker, a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler and had enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.

Surviving are her children: Sandra (Keith) LaComb of Pinehurst, NC; Deborah (Fred M.) Vero of Butler, PA; Gary (Laurie) Hoffman of Fort Myers, FL and Kathleen (William) Kawulich of Port Matilda, PA.

12 grandchildren: Jennifer LaComb-Thompson of Fayetteville, NC; Krista (Ron) Andrews of Mansfield, PA; Erica (Greg) Sipos of Delmont, PA; Matthew (Angela) LaComb of Pataskala, OH; Kevin (Tifinie) LaComb of Canfield, OH; Alyssa (Jon) Zalar of Greer, SC; Kimberly Vero-Lynn of Harrisville, PA; Erin (Gerg) Cioffi of Evans City, PA; Michael (Jodie) Vero of Manitowoc, WI; Jason, Keira and Nicklas Kawulich, all of Port Matilda, PA.

11 great grandchildren.

1 sister, Sr. Georgia Litzenberg of Greensburg, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd C. Hoffman, whom she married June 27, 1944, he died June 8, 1975; also her 3 brothers, Arthur, Weiley and Eric Litzenberg.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday. A Blessing Service will follow at 8:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to the V.N.A. Hospice Program, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001, or to the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilition Center, 107 Sunnyview Circle, Butler, PA 16001.
