Nancy M. Kriley, 70, of Butler, went to be with our Lord and Savior, September 26, 2017 peacefully in her sleep at home.
She was born January 29, 1947 in Harrisville, daughter of the late John Henry and Mabel Vorous Rihel.
Nancy was survived by John A. Kriley, husband of 51 years of marriage, August 6, 1966 at St. Mary of the Assumption in Herman, PA.
Nancy has been a caregiver to many over the years, at Bashline Hospital: Grove City, Sunnyview: Butler, Dom Care Host in their home for 24 years, Civil Service: Boyers, drove school bus for 23 years, Red Cross teacher, Lifeline Volunteer.
Nancy was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Herman where she taught Sunday School and a Eucharistic Minister. While her sons Billy and Scotty were younger, she was a den mother, committee chairman for Cub Scout Pack 25.
She is survived by her husband John, two sons Bill (Sandy) Kriley: Rural Valley and Scott (Melissa) Kriley: Butler. The boys blessed her with 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons: Gabrielle, Bradley, Emily, Sami, Braden and Myki.
Nancy loved traveling and camping with her family, playing cards with her club and “sister” Peggy Rihel and bowling with her husband John.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Winder and brothers, Clair, Dave and Bud Rihel
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday at 12:00 noon at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler, PA 16002. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
