Paul E. Sinz, Jr.

Paul E. Sinz, Jr, 81, of Butler passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 peacefully at his home.

Born June 18, 1935 in Altoona, PA, he was a son of the late Paul E. Sinz, Sr. and Helen Rider Sinz.

He graduated from Butler High  School.  Paul had worked as a Manager for Baltimore Life Insurance Company, retired following 30 years service.

He was a member of the American Legion Post # 778 in Lyndora and was Secretary/Treasurer of the Locker Room Golf League for many years.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In recent years what he enjoyed most was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving is his wife Constance “Connie” Hinchberger Sinz whom he married April 7, 1958.

2 sons: Jefferey Paul (Dianne) Sinz of Chicora, Pa. and David Edward (Lisa) Sinz of Hershey, Pa.

6 grandchildren: Blaine, Ben, Anna, Claire, Caroline and Kate.

2 sisters: Alyce Ann (Jim) Daum of GA. And Carole Lee (Frank) Rajchel of Butler.

A brother, Michael (Cathy) Reese of Butler.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Sinz and a brother, Thomas Sinz.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA. 16001 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday. A Blessing service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday from the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
