Robert L. Blazewick

Robert L. Blazewick, 85, of Butler passed away January 19, 2018 at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born June 19, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a son of the late Leonard and Anna Catherine (Treichler) Blazewick.

Robert was co-owner of the Wexford Foodland and a life long manager of grocery stores and distributors.

He was an avid sports fan who had a passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Robert also enjoyed golfing and especially spending time with his family.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War.

Surviving is his wife, Annabelle Ietto Blazewick, they were married June 22, 1963.

A daughter, Debra (Christopher) DiCianna and a son, Frank (Kristin) Blazewick both of Cranberry Twp.

4 grandchildren: Michael and Natalie DiCianna, Ashley and Matthew Blazewick.

A brother, Paul (Nancy) Blazewick of NJ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Blazewick.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Butler, PA 16001 from 4-7 pm Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am from St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. Butler, PA 16001. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
