Ronald A. Nickel, 61, of Butler, died Monday afternoon, February 19, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Born March 12, 1956 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Frank R. Nickel, Sr. and Joan E. Nicklas Nickel.
Ron was a 1974 graduate of Knoch High School, had worked in sales at Shults Ford in Harmarville and was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
Surviving is his brother, Frank R. Nickel, Jr. of Slippery Rock.
1 sister, Linda M. (Bob) Cunningham of Butler.
4 nephews: Frank R. Nickel, III; Bob Cunningham, III; Matt Cunningham; Nick Cunningham.
1 niece, Andrea Nickel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Nickel and a nephew, Chris Nickel.
Family and friends are invited to gather at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Saturday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz, Pastor, will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
