Scott V. Cammisa, 53, of Butler, died Tuesday morning, May 2, 2017, at the V.N.A. Inpatient Hospice.

Born July 6, 1963 in Butler, he was a son Vincent R. “Jim” Cammisa and the late Betty Lou Smith Cammisa.

Scott graduated from Butler High School and was the owner of Cammisa's Auto Body Inc. in Butler for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and sports enthusiast and his passion was for cars.

Surviving is his wife, Erin C. Conley Cammisa, whom he married December 15, 2007.

His daughter, Ava R. Cammisa.

His father, Vincent R. “Jim” Cammisa of Butler.

2 brothers: Tom (Brenda) Cammisa and Gary (Alma) Cammisa, all of Butler.

His grandmother, Virginia Cammisa of Butler.

4 nephews; Chad, Cory (Ashley), Curtis and Evan Cammisa.

1 niece, Emele Cammisa.

1 great nephew, Camden Cammisa; 1 great niece, Olivia Cammisa and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Cammisa, she died in February of 2016; his grandparents, Hector Cammisa, also John and Regina Smith.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of St. Michael's Cemetery, Butler.

His daughter Ava, requests that In Lieu of Flowers, Donations be made to Butler Catholic School in his memory at 515 East Locust Street, Butler, PA 16001.
