Bernard F. “Buck” Trimbur, Jr., 76, of Butler, died Thursday, November 23, 2017, at the V.N.A. Inpatient Hospice.

Born April 24, 1941 in Butler, he was a son of the late Bernard F. Trimbur, Sr. and Dorothy Slater Trimbur.

Buck was a 1959 graduate of Butler High School and had worked as a truck driver and also in maintenance for Marmon Keystone for 40 ½ years, retiring April 1, 2009. Prior to that he worked 10 years for Kelly Chevrolet.

He was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, the R.C. Mens Club, Happy Hunters and the NRA. He was an avid hunter, NASCAR fan, Pittsburgh sports fan, had coached East Butler baseball and drove bus for the East Butler Sparks. He enjoyed repairing and fixing things for family and friends and spending time at his camp.

Surviving is his wife, Dianna J. Niggel Trimbur, whom he married August 18, 1962.

3 children: Richard (Darlene) Trimbur of Butler, Julie (Doug) Rebmann of Butler and Daniel Trimbur of Clearwater, FL.

4 grandchildren: Cory Trimbur, Tyler Trimbur, Rachel Rebmann and Ryan Rebmann, all of Butler.

3 sisters: Leetta Christy, JoAnne (Chuck) Miller and Mary (Terry) Walker, all of Butler.

1 brother, Steve (Janet) Trimbur of Butler.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey B. Trimbur.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville. The Rev. Matt McClain, Pastor, will officiate. Internment will follow in St. John's Parish Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, his family requests that donations be made to the V.N.A. Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
