Corrine Elizabeth Geibel Skillman, 86, of East Butler, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 22, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born March 23, 1931 in East Butler, she was a daughter of the late Frank Geibel and Viola Ritzert Geibel.

After High School she worked briefly at J.C. Penney and then was employed by Magnetics in East Butler, retiring after 38 years.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.

Surviving is her sister, Flo M. Geibel Bollinger and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Sgt. Richard F. “Dick” Skillman, whom she married August 8, 1964, he died December 7, 2008; also 2 sisters, Wilma Saeler and Hazel Geibel; 2 brothers, Arthur Geibel and Kenneth Geibel.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz, Pastor, will officiate. Entombment will follow in Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery, Butler.

St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Church to recite the Rosary.
