Dolores J. Carey

Dolores J. Calderone Carey, 92, of Goose Creek, SC, formerly of Butler, PA passed away October 3, 2018.

Dolores was born January 31,1926 in Jeannette, PA, she was a daughter of the late James and Lula Calderone.

Preceded in death by her husband, Wesley E. Carey and their children; twins, John Charles and Judith Ann, Linda Roman, Nancy Rearick and Daniel Carey. Her sisters, Josephine Brown and Evelyn Tomcanin. Her brother, James Calderone, Jr.

Surviving is her daughter, Colleen Carey (Stephen) Giallombardo of Goose Creek, SC; fourteen grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren.

Her brother, William Calderone of Youngwood, PA, her sisters; Janice Hill of Pensacola, FL., and Sally Clark of Lincolnton, NC.

Dolores worked for Budget Appliance, Fisher Big Wheel, Hills, Ames and K-Mart. She enjoyed plastic canvas crafting.

She was a long time member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 6-8 pm Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday from St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean St. Butler, PA with Rev. Harry Bielewicz, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.

St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:30 am Tuesday to recite the Rosary.
