When I got married almost 57 years ago there were five neighbors on Williams Road who all gathered at Horans for coffee every morning . All these five neighbors are now in heaven with Ed now joining them. Ed and Rose started to come to Highfield Hall when we had our dances and they sat with my Mom and Dad and their group of friends. I remember all the good times they had with every one and what a good looking couple they were out on the dance floor dancing the night away. Sending sincere condolences to all of Ed's family. I am going to miss seeing Ed taking out the garbage on Sunday , and him coming and going in his red car, and his wave and toot of the horn if he would see me out side. I will not be able to go to the funeral home since I am having problems walking but my thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

This is as hard as it gets. I know Ed was a wonderful father; you and your families are proof of that. I knew him first as your Dad and then later as a friend. He was kind and considerate and caring. It's been many years since I saw him last, but time does not erase everything and my thoughts have often drifted back to our days on Williams Road and the fun we had at your house in your back yard and house. He and your Mom put up with a lot! Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Bruce Fair
