It is with great sadness that the family of Edward John Nash announces his passing after a brief illness on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Sarver, PA.
He was born on May 18, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA to Edward &Helen (McGrann)Nash and was a current resident of Butler, PA.
Ed was a "sun worshiper" and loved to be outdoors. He was well known for his sense of humor & quick wit. He was a friend to all that met him & would help anyone that he could. He was a very funny & friendly guy that always spoke what was on his mind. He was a dogs best friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Norma Jean (Smith) Nash and his great grandson Bentley Miller.
He is survived by 1 sister, 5 Children: Eddie (Paulette) Nash, Lori Nash (Mike Lichina), Connie (Dutch) Gustafson, Bobbie Joe (Joel) Nash-Tebay, Lindsey (Dave) Nash-Escarcega; 13 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
His last place of employment was Woodland Hills S.D. as a custodian where he made many friends & was loved by the students that knew him.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts and will always appreciate the man that you were & the lessons we've learned from you.
