Faye (Gibson) Allday-Yingling, 79, of Butler passed away May 15, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing Home while under the care of LIFE Butler County. Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edwin P. and Mary (Sherback) Gibson. Faye was raised in the Catholic faith. She was a Graduate of Shaler High School and worked as an Independent Bookkeeper and Income Tax Preparer for various companies before retiring. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends. She had many pen-pals throughout the U.S. with one dear friend, Jan, whom she penned with for over 50 years.
She is survived by her three children, Don (Ag) Allday of Sarver, Mike (Cindy) Allday of Butler and Tracy (Bill) Mitchell of Saxonburg whom she shared with the late Troy Allday; her grandchildren, Sherrie, Mark, Matthew, Adam, Justin, Amber, Shawn, Mindy, Holly, and her ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her second husband, James Yingling, and her two sisters; Shirley Dorrier and Lillian Bailey. The family of Faye Allday-Yingling welcomes friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, pa. A funeral service will immediately follow at 8:00 pm from the Funeral Home with Father, Nickolas Argentieri of St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church officiating. She will be laid to rest at St. Anthony Cemetery in Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to LIFE Butler County/Lutheran Senior Care.
