James Johnston Obituary

James D. Johnston, 66, of Butler, died July 25, 2018, at his home.

Born May 31, 1952 in Anniston, AL, he was a son of the late Charles Johnston and Janice (Snyder) Baptiste.

James was a retired Dietary Supervisor from the Butler VA Medical Center. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his daughters, Amy (Thomas) Kelley of Pittsburgh, PA and Amanda (Scott) Tomer of Chardon, OH.

A granddaughter, Lillian Tomer.

1 sister, Ruth Anne Baptiste of Butler, PA.

2 brothers: Andrew Baptiste of Columbus, OH and William Johnston of Encinitas, CA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Baptiste.

Private Services will be held for his family. Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home, Butler.
