Mary Z. Herman, 92, of Lyndora, died Thursday evening, July 5, 2018, at her home.
Born August 26, 1925 in Lyndora, she was a daughter of the late Frank Zelinka and Mary (Gonko) Zelinka.
Mary was a homemaker and was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora, also the Ladies Guild at St. John's. She was very dedicated to her family and her faith.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Chris (Kim) Rensel and Martha (Bob) Cawthon.
6 grandchildren: Tim Walsh, Dan Walsh, Brian (Brenda) Rensel, Jennifer (Bryan) Flaugh, Lisa (Jim) Shearer and John (Tara) Stehle, Jr.
8 great grandchildren: Austin, Tiffany, Christopher, Madison, Kyle, Sean, Landon and Aven.
5 step great grandchildren: Aubrey, Matthew, Connor, Dennis and Danielle.
3 great great grandchildren: Liam, Helena and Juniper.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
Ina addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Herman, whom she married September 14, 1947, he died February 13, 1996; her daughter, Rosemarie “Honey” Walsh, who died June 15, 2018; 1 infant sister; 3 brothers, John, Frank and Michael Zelinka; 1 great grandson, Austyn Rensel; 1 great granddaughter, Mackenzie Shearer; 1 son-in-law, Tom Walsh, also Helen K.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora. The Rev. Radko Blichar, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park
Parastas Services will be held on Monday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
