Mary Ann Skrobot Obituary

Mary Ann Skrobot, 84, of Butler, died Monday, April 23, 2018, at her home.

Born November 4, 1933 in Prospect, she was a daughter of the late John Ziros and Anna (Dupin) Ziros.

Mary Ann was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an excellent homemaker and was a wonderful cook who lived to cook for her family. She was a member of the South Butler Firehall women's auxiliary, was Roman Catholic in Faith, lived as a good christian as she was always kind and generous and was involved in her community throughout her life. She was belonged to the coffebreak bowilng league for 40 years, was president of the PTA and was head of the YMCA Aquatic Association when her children were in school. She had always loved and lived for her family as they were her life.

Surviving are her daughters, Vicki Conner of Butler and Sandi Skrobot of El Cajon, CA.

1 granddaughter, Michelle Henry Reed and her husband Joe Reed of Chicora.

3 great grandchildren: Cheyenne Henry, RJ Henry and Joseph Reed.

1 sister, Shirley Russo of El Cajon, CA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joseph V. Skrobot, whom she married May 16, 1953, he died September 24, 2017; also 2 brothers, Gary and Pat.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Sunday. A Blessing Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 100 Liberty Avenue, Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
