Mildred Maker, 99, of Butler, died Monday, July 9, 2018, at the Sunnyview Home.
Born December 25, 1918 in East Butler, she was a daughter of the late Harry Fields and Julia (Fantala) Fields.
Mildred was a homemaker and had worked at the Shell Shop during World War II. She was a member of St. Michael Greek Catholic Church in Lyndora, the Womens Club at St. Michael's and had enjoyed working puzzles and cooking for her family.
Surviving is her daughter, Patty (Robert) Hunka of Butler.
1 sister, Helen DiTullio of Butler.
A number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Maker, who died December 3, 1969; also 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Michael Greek Catholic Church in Lyndora. The Rev. Douglas Lorance, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Parastas Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
