Richard “Ricky” Lee Geibel, 60, of Butler passed away peacefully at Butler Memorial Hospital Wednesday, June 20, 2018 with his brothers and sisters by his side.
Born October 24, 1957 in Butler he was a son of the late James F. and Ann A. Rettig Geibel.
He was a graduate of Butler High School and was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic church.
He was employed by the PARC for many years. His favorite past time was listening to music, dancing, sports and collecting baseball cards. He loved camping with Larry and Alice Queto who he resided with for 12 years, whom we would like to thank for their loving care. Also, thank you for the love and kindness at his recent home at Lindsdale and Janice for all your 40 years of support.
The family would like to thank everyone who took care of our beloved brother. Especially the doctors, nurses and staff in ICU. A special thanks to Chelsea for her tender loving care and compassion for Ricky and his family.
He is survived by his sisters Shirley Hicks (Jack) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Patti Young (Rodger) and Jean Karenbauer (Ken) both of Butler. A brother Ronald Geibel (Maureen) of Elgin, IL and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew and great-nephew.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday. A Blessing service will follow at 1:00 pm Saturday from the Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Bielewicz to officiate. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ARC of Butler County, 112 Hollywood Dr. #202 Butler, PA 16001.
