Robert W. "Rob" Fredley

Robert W. “Rob” Fredley, 53, of Butler, died Friday, May 5, 2017, at his residence.

Born March 13, 1964 in Butler, he was a son of Janet Cooper McGee and the late David W. Fredley.

Rob graduated from Butler High School in 1982, where he was a pitcher on the varsity baseball team. He worked for the Butler Memorial Hospital for 36 years. He was a member of the Zelienople-Harmony Sportsman Club and the Butler Moose Lodge. Rob enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an avid golfer and always loved to help people.

Surviving is his wife, Yvonne D. Marmie Fredley.

1 son, Jordan (Bree) Comunale of TN.

His mother and stepfather, Jan & Ed McGee of Zelienople.

His stepmother, Marlys Fredley of the Villages in Florida.

Sister, Nancy (Bill) Kuhn of Karns City.

His twin brother, Richard “Rick” (Donna) Fredley of Meridian.

Step brothers: David (Joanne) Huff of Saxonburg; William (Heather) McGee of Ohio; Greg (Karen) McGee of New York and Jay (Susie) Gillespie.

Step sister, Rhonda (Tim) Casey.

Half sister, Sharon Fredley of Butler.

Uncles: Chuck Huff and Ralph (Sally) Cooper of Butler.

Aunts: Leah Miller of Butler, Jeanne (Don) Gamble of Alabama and Judy Bodnar of Pittsburgh.

Niece, Lee Ann Woods of Colorado.

Great nephew, Jace Lineman of Colorado.

Mother-in-law, Mary Lou Twentier of Butler.

Sister-in-law, Karen (Curt) Reeder of Slippery Rock.

Brother-in-law, Gene (Debby) Allen of California.

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, David W. Fredley, his grandparents and his cousin, John Gamble.

Family and friends will gather at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Private Funeral Services will be held for his family.
