Sara Jean Hartle

Sara Jean Hartle, 66, of Butler, passed away Monday afternoon, November 25, 2019.

Born February 20, 1953 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late George William Everetts and Mary Jane (Caldwell) Everetts.

Sara had been a caregiver and was a member of Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and children from her Church.

She is survived by her son, Christopher F. Hartle of Dumfries, VA.

2 daughters: Georgia J. (Tim) Yelton of Monroe, NC and Becky J. (David) Wagner of Butler.

3 granddaughters: Madison Yelton, Meredith Yelton and Samantha Wagner.

1 brother, William Everetts of Butler.

2 sisters: Maryann Deal and Bobbie Cox, both of Butler.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Hartle, whom she married August 22, 1969, he died August 14, 2006; 1 son, Randy Hartle who died in 2002; 1 brother, George Caldwell.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2-4 and 6-7 p.m. Friday. Funeral Services will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Fish, will officiate. Private interment will be in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
