Dear Yovanovich Family,
I am so sorry to have read of your loss; please accept my sincere condolences. Something that I have personally found to be of great comfort are the thoughts expressed at John 5:28, 29 as well as Revelation 21:4. In these verses, we find a wonderful hope for the future of being reunited with our loved ones upon the earth the way it was originally intended--free from sickness, suffering, and death. Knowing this has comforted me greatly and it is my sincere hope that these thoughts comfort your family as well. Again I am so sorry for your loss.

I've known Steve for many years since he married my cousin Normie. Normie and I were great friends since we were kids so I was happy for her that she was so happy to marry Steve. Over the years of their marriage, I got to know Steve very well. I loved how good of a husband he was and how happy he made Normie. She used to tell me all the time what a good man he was. Steve had gone to University of North Carlina for his masters degree and I had gone to Duke. So for years we shared this friendly rivalry over the two school's basketball programs arguing and betting over the annual showdowns. I never lived in Butler once I left home, but every year or two, I would go back to visit Steve and Normie and they would treat me like royalty. Steve loved to cook and he would always show off his culinary skills. Normie was a good woman and Steve was a good man. I'm going to miss them both very much.
