Susan "Sue" Streitman

Susan “Sue” Streitman, 97, of Butler, died Wednesday evening, January 23, 2019, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 1, 1921 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Michael Pallo and Mary (Samko) Pallo.

Sue was retired from Pennsylvania Labor & Industry working at the Butler Unemployment Compensation Office. Prior to that she worked at the Franklin Glass Corporation and also the Standard Motor Company.

She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.

She is survived by 2 nieces, several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Regis S. Streitman, whom she married February 19, 1948, he died July 13, 2012; also 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

There will not be a public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road in Meridian.
