Susie K. Zavacky

Susie K. Zavacky, 88, of Butler passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 2, 1931 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Sebastian and Victoria (Bugar) Furka.

She worked in the Servi Clean Department at Butler Armco Works for 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of the American Legion post #778 Women's Auxiliary for 54 years where she assisted with Bingo and the Legion dances.

Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Zavacky who passed away August 29, 2012. Two brothers and Seven sisters.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am from St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean St. Butler, PA 16001. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
