Suzanne Jean Cunningham

Suzanne Jane Cunningham, 69, of Butler passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 14, 1948 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Rose (Fleming) Gregg.

Sue was a 1966 graduate of Knoch High School. Following graduation, she attended Butler Business School.

She worked at Butler Memorial Hospital in the Medical Records Department for many years.

She sang with the Greater Harmony Chorus a chapter of Sweet Adeline International. Sue also took great joy in watching her two sons play sports while growing up.

Surviving is her husband, Daniel J. Cunningham, they were married March 14, 1970 at the Thorn Creek UM Church in Butler.

2 sons: Jason A. Cunningham of Mt. Juliet, TN and Darin L. Cunningham, her daughter-in-law, Christina and a grandson, Cason D. Cunningham, also of Mt. Juliet, TN.

A sister, Betti Ruth (Gregg) Weber of Hundred, WV and a brother, Jamie Gregg of Martinsville, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no public visitation. A memorial service is being planned. Memorial donations may be made to the MS Society of Butler, 502 ½ West Jefferson St., Suite 3, Butler, PA 16001. Arrangements completed by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001.
