Clarence P. “Junior” Suchonic, Jr., 83, of Butler, passed away, Sunday, March 2, 2025.
He was born March 24, 1941 in Butler, a son of the late Clarence P. Suchonic, Sr. and Lucy (DeRita) Suchonic.
Junior was retired from Mikan Motors, he worked as Parts Manager for 25 years. He loved bowling, camping and shining his precious cars. He was a member of the American Legion #117, the French and Belgium Club, The Italian Club and the East Butler Firehall.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff (Lisa) Suchonic, Steve Suchonic and Gage (Tina) Suchonic.
5 grandchildren: Kristi, Brea, Dakota, Maylynn and Taya.
4 great grandchildren: Keira, Eric, Weston and Walker.
1 brother, Ronald (Sandy) Suchonic.
3 sisters: Theresa Snyder, Carol Wood and Susan (Tim) Mitchell.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Iona (McHarque) Suchonic, whom he married May 3, 1986, she passed away April 23, 2013, also an infant sister, Sandra Lee.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday. A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, at the Chapel of Calvary Cemetery in Butler at 10:00 am, everyone is asked to please meet there.
