David E. “Bo” Voelker, 58, of Butler, passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, November 6, 2018, at the V.N.A. Inpatient Hospice.
Born June 21, 1960 in Butler, he was a son of the late Norman Voelker, Sr. and Sara (Campbell) Voelker.
He had worked for Penn Champ in East Butler and was a former member of Italian Club and the French and Belgium Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving is his devoted partner of 23 years Deborah Williams.
Her children, Shane Leasure and his daughter, Cassidy; Tawna Kanzler and her children, Romy and Veda.
1 daughter, Sharon (Christopher) Hoden of Butler.
2 grandchildren, Brayden and Nathan.
His siblings: Barbara Radzyminski (Daniel West), Gary Voelker, Nancy (Roger) Rettig, Debbie (George) Schroth, Connie (Gary) Malinski and Norman Voelker, Jr., all of Butler.
His uncle, Robert Campbell.
His life-long friend Dave Chrzan.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Murphy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler. The Rev. Steven Neff, will officiate. Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home in Butler.
