Donald H. Beggs

Donald H. Beggs, 66, of Butler, passed away, Thursday September 7, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

He was born November 3, 1956 in Butler, a son of the late Evelyn (Schiebel) Beggs.

Donnie was self-employed as owner/operator of the Amoco Gas Station and Repair Shop on Route 356 just outside of Butler until 1990.  He then went to work for Penn United Technologies in their Heat Treating Department.

He was a member of Summit Presbyterian Church, where he was an active volunteer maintaining the Church and School grounds.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and loved to ride his motorcycle.

He is survived by his step daughter, Sue Ann Toy and her husband, Brian Toy.

His beloved granddaughter, Ashley Toy.

1 brother, James Beggs.

Niece Nicole (Tim) Gustin, nephew Jim Beggs and his special friends, Ron and Cindy Lemmon.

In addition to his mother who passed away in July of 2019, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet L. Beggs, whom he married September 15, 1990, she passed away July 10, 2018; also his dear uncle, Regis Schiebel who passed away in December of 2020.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler on Sunday from1:00 pm until 2:30 pm.  Services will follow at 2:30 pm at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
