Dorothy Bowser Obituary

Dorothy J. Bowser, 83, of Butler, passed away, Friday, January 29, 2021, at her home.

Born January 30, 1937 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Leroy E. Bowser and Mildred L. (Wolfe) Bowser.

Dorothy had worked as a switch board operator for the Butler Area School District and previously worked for Dr. Fleming in Butler for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her sisters, Shirley Vanburen of Gaithersburg, MD and Helen (Robert) Kalan of Mars.

Several nieces and nephews.

Private burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler.
