Eleanore Elkins

Eleanore Elkins, 88, of Lyndora, passed away, Monday March 20, 2023, at her home.

She was born in Force, PA, Elk County, a daughter of the late Howard Wise and Theresa (Skrabak) Wise.

Eleanore was retired from Martin Marietta Aerospace in Orlando, FL, where she worked for 30 years as a developer.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, was a life member of the V.F.W. #249 Auxiliary.  She enjoyed reading, working jigsaw puzzles and had loved her family and her cat Callie.

Surviving is her daughters, Sharon Connell and Susie McNally.

6 grandchildren:  Wendy Andrews, Jason Tindall, Melanie Easterwood, Randall Connell, Timothy Connell and William McNally.

11 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Her siblings:  Kenneth Wise, Ervin Wise, Sylvia Evans, Caroline Bell, Maxine Heardman and Florence Reilly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Reist; a son, Randall Connell and a brother, Ronald “Hoot” Wise.

Family and friends will gather at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday.  Services will follow at 4:00 pm at the Funeral Home, with Deacon Mitch Natali, to officiate.
