Obituary

Frank V. Olexsak, 75, of Butler, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

He was born September 6, 1947 in Butler, a son of the late Frank P. Olexsak and Rose (Medwid) Olexsak.

Frank was retired from the Armco Steel Plant in Butler, after working there about 30 years.  He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching old movies, assembling model ships and spending time with his nieces and nephews.  He was an avid coin collector, car collector and Mopar fan.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the United States Army Infantry Division.

Surviving are his brothers, Richard Olexsak of Butler and David (Karen) Olexsak of North Washington.

Nieces, Christine (Jeff) Olson and Erica (Cody) Blake.

Nephew, Philip Olexsak.

Great nieces and great nephews:  Allison, Colton, Cullen, Dustin, Kasey and Addison.

Numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carol Olexsak.

Private Services and Burial were held for his family.  Arrangements by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler.
