Gary Lee Brown, 72, of Butler, passed away, Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 15, 1948 in Dayton, OH, he was a son of the late George Brown and Ruthella (Gist) Brown.
Gary graduated from Butler High School in Vandalia, OH and then from the University of Dayton, with a degree in communications and journalism. He had a wonderful and fulfilling career in sales management. He was a beloved and adoring father of 2 children, in addition to being a treasured husband.
A veteran of the Vietnam War era, Gary served in the United States Air Force (Korea).
Surviving is his wife, Anna Bartolini Brown, whom he married in 2008.
His son, Major Matthew J. (Rachel) Brown, United States Army stationed at Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, NY.
His daughter, Adrienne (Jamal) Merza of St. Augustine, FL.
Five beautiful grandchildren.
A sister, Cathy (Brian) Fletcher.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a grandson Cole.
