Genevieve Patricia Zach passed away from natural causes in her home Monday evening December 21, 2020 with her family at her side,. She was born March 20, 1925 in the home of her Parents, John and Mary (Penar) Otremsky, and was as a life-long member of St Stanislaus Catholic Church (St. Fidelis), and attended Lyndora School and Butler High School, graduating in 1943.
Earlier in life, she worked at the Spade Shirt Factory, K-Mart, Fisher's Big Wheel, J. C. Penney and many years for the County Board of Elections. She was an avid bowler with the Sunshine bowling league for many years and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for St. Stanislaus Church in Lyndora, as well as being on the Ladies Auxiliary for the Greenwood Village Volunteer Fire Department
She loved to cook and bake, crochet, knit and sew, as well as read novels every evening.
She leaves behind two sons: Kenneth (Linda), Thomas Aka. “Jimmie," and daughter Carol (Robert) Godot, Grand children: Heather, Jason (Sarah), Ryan (Nicole), Amanda (Garrett) and Travis.
Great grand-children: Abbigail, Ashlen, Amia-Lina, Adelynn, Avianna, Arrow, Drake, Elias,Jaxson, Jenna, Kirisa, Khloe, Raevin and Tyler.
Brothers: Frank of Akron Ohio, John (Theresa) of Norton Ohio, Richard (Mary Ann) of Monroeville PA and a large number of nieces and nephews.
1 sister, Marylou Chine of Atlanta, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband John whom she married in November 1951, brothers Mitchell, Stanley, Thaddeus and Edward. Private funeral services will be held for the family.
