Geraldine Marie Heade

Geraldine Marie (Alberti) Heade, age 87, Butler, PA passed away July 24, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents Angelo and Anna Alberti; her sister, Shirley Hertz; her husband, Edward W. Heade; and son, Bruce E. Heade.

Geraldine is survived by her son, Gregg Heade, of Butler; her daughters, Norma (Michael) Wehby, of Modesto, CA; Pamela (Kirby) Stevenson, of Butler; grandchildren Nicole (Christy) Grottenthaler, of Slippery Rock; Ryan (Shannon) Stevenson, of Butler; Courtney (Joseph) McHugh, of Lakewood, OH; Ian
Wehby, of South Lake Tahoe, CA; Anna Heade, of Butler; Luke Heade, of Butler; plus 7 great grandchildren.

Gerry was a woman of faith daily covering her family in prayer over her morning cup of coffee. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and playing cards. Gerry was a life-long Steeler fan. But her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. They could always count on her to be there watching them playing sports. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham Street, Butler on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 8:30 am until 10:00 am.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, at All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin Street, Butler.  Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Parish cemetery.

Following the procession and committal services, friends and family are invited to a reception at St. Peter’s Parish hall.
