John S. Robison

John S. Robison, 82, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at his home in Horsham, PA. Born October 25, 1939, in Butler, PA, he was the son of the late John S. Robison and Catherine Hutzler Robison. John graduated from Butler High School in 1957 and the University of Cincinnati in 1962 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. John retired from Unisys in 2002.

John is survived by his brother Robert (Clair) of Charlottesville, VA, his sister Nancy (Don) Friedel of Brentwood, CA and brother Jim Robison (Rose) of Sarasota, Fl. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Robison and Tom’s wife, Diana (Druga) Robison. He was a beloved uncle to five nieces and three nephews and several great nieces and grand nephews.

John had a passion for anything electronic and was technical support for family and friends. When you had a computer problem, John was the go to person. John was also an avid ham radio operator.

Friends of John S. Robison will be received Friday, February 11, at Geibel Funeral home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, PA from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Additional visitation will be held from 8:30 am until 9:15 am Saturday, February 12. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday at All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic church 128 North McKean St. Butler, PA 16001. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
