Julia S. Buzas, 93, of Butler passed away January 25, 2021 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born December 22, 1927 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Dunda) Sherba.
Julia was retired from the Human Resources Department at PennDot.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora, she was a former member of the Repass Committee in her chrurch.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and traveling.
Surviving are her 3 children: John Buzas of Butler, Cindy Buzas of CA. And Mike Buzas of Butler.
2 grandsons, Parker Somes and Mike Ellefson and a God daughter, MaryBeth Jameson.
Her sister, Sue Herman.

Niece, Gloria Hoffman with whom she spent time.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Buzas who passed away September 4, 2008, they were married June 18, 1947. Her daughter, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral arrangements were held privately. Arrangements completed by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001.
