Keith Fend Obituary

Keith M. Fend, 67, of Butler passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born September 16, 1953 in Butler, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Helen J. (Crawford) Fend.

He retired from the hardware department at lowe's following 21 years service.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman and a member of the R.C. Men's Club.

Keith enjoyed hunting and he enjoyed the outdoors, along with watching football, model trains and especially time with his grandchildren.

Surviving is his son, Garrett (Cristen) Fend and his daughter, Amy Fend both of Butler.

Three grandchildren: Haylee, McKenzie and Bellamy.

Two brothers, Dave Fend and Brian (Elena) Fend, both of Butler.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne (Jackman) Fend who passed away January 18, 2020.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday at 11:00 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler, PA 16002. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
