Kenneth E. Crispin Sr. ,85, of East Butler passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones Wednesday evening February 10, 2021.
Kenneth was born January 2nd, 1936 in Carbon Center, Pennsylvania and was the son of Kenneth M Crispin and Winnie P (Lively) Crispin.
Kenneth devoted his life to many causes. He was a member of the Army National Guard for nine years, a council member of East Butler Boro Council for over 25 years (holding many positions), a Boy Scout leader for East Butler troop 9, just to name a few.
Kenneth retired from Armco in 1996 after 30 years of service. After his retirement he worked as a school bus driver for Valley Lines. Driving “his kids” was a job that brought him so much joy later in life. Before his employment at Armco he was employed at Keystone Pipe and Supply for 10 years. During his employment at Armco, Kenneth was also the owner and founder of Crispin Sporting Goods.
Kenneth was an avid fisherman, enjoyed boating, camping, water sports and above all, spending time with his family.
Kenneth is survived by Irene E (Heasley) Crispin, his wife of 65 years, his three children, Kenneth E Crispin Jr. (Lois), Kathy J (Crispin) Doles (Aaron), Kelly M (Crispin) Stephenson (Kevin), his 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a sister, Marie P. Houston (John), and a brother Charles L. Crispin (Grace).
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth M Crispin and Winnie P (Lively) Crispin as well as his sister Mary Ellen McCune (Jack), and his brother Paul Crispin (Carolyn).
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday. Private Funeral Services and Burial will take place for his family.
Everyone attending is required to provide and wear a facial covering, also practice social distancing.
