Mary Jacqueline "Jacky" Mohn, 87, of Butler passed away December 27, 2022 at her residence.
Born January 24, 1935 in Ford City, she was a daughter of the late Wendell Karl and Margaret Josephine (Fichter) Hume.
She graduated from Butler High School and Seton Hill College with a degree in Dietetics. She worked as a dietician for Ellwood City, Butler and Grove City Hospitals until she retired.
Beloved mother and friend to all. Matriarch of the family whose door was always open to friends and family. She loved puzzles, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy and visiting every state’s highest point with her husband, Jim. Camped at Wolf’s Den Camping Resort in Knox, PA for many years.
She was a member of All Saint’s Parish, St. Paul Church.
Survived by her children Karen Johnson, Keith Mohn, Kevin Mohn, Kurt Mohn and Mark (Mary) Mohn.
Grandchildren: Amanda Martin, Kimberly and Joe Saviano, Jason Johnson, Keely Mohn, Erika and Chris McCullough, Cassandra Mohn, Miranda Mohn, Thomas Mohn and Tyler Mohn. Great-grandchild, Rosemary Saviano.
In addition to her parents Wendell and Margaret (Babe) Hume, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Mohn and daughter-in-law, Kelly Mohn.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. from 5:00-8:00 PM Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean St. Butler, PA 16001. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
