Patrick M. Holben, 64, of Butler, passed away, Tuesday evening, August 31, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born April 27, 1957 in Butler, he was a son of the late Robert W. Holben and Ruth E. (Ostrander) Holben.
Pat was a graduate of Butler High School and had worked for St. Conrad's Church for more than 40 years.
He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church and the American Legion #778 in Lyndora. He had organized the Meridian Thursday night golf league at Aubrey's Golf course for 20 years, as he loved to play golf, was an avid sports fan, especially watching hockey, Pitt basketball and Pitt football and enjoyed vacationing in the Outer Banks.
Surviving is his wife, Kathleen D. (Rivers) Holben, whom he married November 26, 1983.
1 son, Michael P. (Emily Rensel) Holben of Butler.
3 brothers: Clarence (Linda) Holben of Butler, James (Cindy) Holben of Chicora, Gerald (Tammy) Holben of Hooker.
Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Also his beloved dog Ziggy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Holben.
Family and friends will gather at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Friday. A Blessing Service will follow at 4:00 pm, at the Funeral Home.
