Paul R. Secunda, 88, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Butler, passed away January 18, 2019 at the Southwestern Veterans Center if Pittsburgh.
Born September 5, 1930 in Butler, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Guzak Secunda.
Paul was employed for 20 years by the United States Post Office as a mail handler.
He was a United States Veteran of the Marine Corp. He was a drill instructor and also did air traffic control. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora and also was a member of the VFW.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
There will be no visitation. Funeral Services will held at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 at 10:00 am Monday, January 28, 2019. Rev. Radko Blichar, Pastor, St. John Byzantine Church, to officiate. Interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
