Richard L. Miller, 71, of Butler, passed away, Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 9, 1950 in Butler, he was a son of the late David Miller and Kathryn (Culbertson) Miller.
He had worked at Pullman Standard until the plant closed and then for Stirling Painting. He was a member of the Butler Moose Lodge and the Happy Hunters Club. He was an avid hunter and had enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are his sons, Robert D. (Tricia) Miller of Transfer, PA and Alan J. (Heather) Miller of Butler.
8 grandchildren: Emma Barsotti, Jacob Miller, Ethan Barsotti, Thomas Miller, Nathan Miller, Alyssa Miller, Noah Miller and Ella Miller.
1 brother, Floyd Miller.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly L. (Flick) Miller, whom he married June 12, 1971, she passed January 20, 2019; also 2 brothers, Bill and Paul Miller.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm Monday. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
