Ronald C. Kotomski, 79, of Butler, made his Heavenly entrance on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Christmas came early for our dearly beloved. Ron was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 4, 1941 to the late Frank and Mary Kotomski. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Ron, a member of St. Christopher at the Lake Catholic Church, was very strong in his Catholic faith with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. He worked as a respiratory therapist for over 50 years at various western PA hospitals. He retired at the age of 75 and enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He loved teaching life lessons through his charitable acts of mercy to others. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Ray and Sonny Kotomski. He is survived by his cherished wife of 58 years, Claudine; his three children, Linda Green, David Kotomski, and Debi Hennessey; ten grandchildren, Justin, Kelsey, Brittany, and Brandi Green; Sara, Stephanie, and Matt Kotomski; and Lauren, Robin, and Caitlin Hennessey; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received from 3 to 7 PM on Monday, December 28, at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, PA 16001. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday Dec 29, 2020 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean St. Butler, PA 16001
Entombment will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, 700 Soose Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15209. Masks are required. Please follow CDC guidelines for social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
