Rose M. Gilliland

Rose M. Gilliland, 78, of Butler passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her residence.

Born June 3,1939 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Wilbert and Marie Rodgers Mohan.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

She enjoyed bird watching, her flower garden and fish pond.

Surviving is her husband, Lewis H. Gilliland, whom she married June 25, 1984.

5 children: Glenn J. (Diana) Baptiste, Richard Baptiste, Cindy (Randy) Booher, Barbara Christofano and Jeffrey Baptiste all of Butler.

20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A sister, Dorothy Rearick of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn J. Baptiste, Sr. and 7 brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday from St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave Butler, PA 16001. Rev. Harry Bielewicz to officiate. Private interment will be held at St. Mary Cemetery in Herman.
