Sandra Lee Hughes

Sandra L. Hughes, 84, of Saxonburg passed away February 22, 2022 at North Hills Passavant Hospital.

Born December 2, 1937 in Tarentum, PA, she was a daughter of the late James L. and Annetta R. (Richards) Murray.

Sandra was  self-employed and co-owner of  the Goodies Galore Bakery. She had previously worked in the bakery department for  Kroger Grocery Store, she baked for a total 25 years throughout her career.

She was a member of Tops Club and she enjoyed art, painting and drawing.

Surviving is her husband, Donald L. Hughes whom she married July 19, 1958.

Two sons, Donald J. (Kathleen) Hughes of Butler and Scott (Kimberly) Hughes of Kissimmee, FL.

Her daughter, Tracie (Ryan) Roberts of Saxonburg.

Four grandchildren: Zachary, Zoe, Allyson and Mason along with three great-grandchildren.

Her sister, Ruth (Ralph) Gross of Zelienople, PA.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Edith Weckerly.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 2:00-4:00 pm Friday. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 pm Friday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
