Susan Elaine Parkes

Susan Elaine Puskar Parkes, 61, of Renfrew, passed away, Monday March 6, 2023, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 1, 1961 in Kittanning, PA, a daughter of the late Florian S. Puskar and Phoebe Irene (Rumbarger) Puskar.

Susan enjoyed her work as a Registered Nurse, working for Encompass Health and also spending time with her grandson.

She is survived by her daughter, Abbey Parkes.

1 grandson, Jackson Walowen.

2 sisters, Rosalie A. Puskar Bell and Mary Woodring.

2 brothers, James Rumbarger and Merle Johns.

1 sister-in-law, Cathy Puskar.

Many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Parkes; her son Adam Parkes; 3 brothers Stephen, Joseph and John Puskar.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday.  Services will follow at 6:00 pm at the Funeral Home, officiated by her sister Rosalie.
